Huawei 'Watch GT2' launches in the
Indian market on Thursday In addition to the online shopping website Flipkart and Amazon India, the company has already launched the 'Notify Me' page of
this smartwatch on Huawei’s Indian official website.
The company has not yet
made any official announcement about its price. According to the company, the
Huawei Watch GT2 can be purchased online as well as from an online retail store.
The watch will be equipped with a
'Kirin A1' chipset, making its battery last longer. Speaking of Kirin A1
chipset, it will have a separate processing unit, advanced audio processing
unit, ultra-low power consumption application processor and a separate unit for
power management. This is the first wearable chip that will support wireless
audio devices and smartwatches. Kirin A1 chipset will be launched for the first
time in the Indian market with Huawei Watch GT2.

Two models may be launched in India
Huawei Watch GT2 will be launched in
the Indian market in two dial options like a smartwatch, 42mm, and 46mm.
The 46mm will have a 1.39-inch 454x454
pixel OLED display and the 42mm model will have a 1.2-inch 390x390 pixel OLED
display.
GPS mode provides 30 hours of battery
life even when GPS mode is on. On a single charge, its 46mm model will last two
weeks and the 42mm model will last up to a week.
The watch will feature a 5 atm
water-resistant feature, meaning it will work non-stop for up to 10 minutes in
50 meters deep water.

It has Bluetooth version 5.1 and GPS
support for connectivity. It will get hi-tech features like optical heart rate
sensors, fitness tracking, and stress monitoring.
It can store up to 500 songs. The
watch will have a built-in mic that allows users to make calls. It can be used
in the 150-meter range of smartphones.
It will be based on the Android 4.4
operating system (OS). It may be available in OS 9.1 in the future. It will
support 15 workloads including running, walking, cycling, and gym machine.
